Throughout the year, Civitans have supported a number of organizations and groups. The following is a list of past and current projects supported by The Alabama Central District:

National Leadership Forum

Camp ASCCA - Dadeville

Civitan International Fund Raising

Civitan International Research Center -- Culminating nearly 50 years of helping people challenged by mental disabilities, Civitan International Foundation members awarded a grant of one million dollars a year for 20 years to The University of Alabama at Birmingham to support development of the Civitan International Research Center. This generous act by Civitan, a major volunteer service organization, made it possible for exceptional human, financial, and technical resources to focus on developmental disabilities.
