The Civitan Emblem As Civitans, we often don't think about our International emblem. Today I wanted to just take a few moments to remind you of what it stands for. Although the logo of Civitan has changed a few times over the years, it has significant points that have remained constant. The gold color represents purity of highly refined metal, indicative of those who would volunteer their time. The blue is a regal color that, together with the gold, has become symbolic of many service club organizations, dating back to the early part of the century. The "C" surrounding the globe represents Civitan service around the world. The 12 highlights around the emblem represent the 12 points of The Civitan Creed. In our day to day activities as Civitans, lets remember what we represent. |
